- Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon (5g)
- Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons (30g)
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Chopped fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons (8g)
Steps
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Peel and core the pineapple, then cut it into thick rings (about 1.5 cm each).
- In a small bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, lime juice, and brown sugar until well combined.
- Brush the pineapple rings with olive oil on both sides and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Place the pineapple rings on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until grill marks appear and the pineapple is slightly caramelized.
- During the last minute of grilling, brush the BBQ glaze on both sides of the pineapple rings.
- Remove the grilled pineapple from the grill and let it cool for a minute.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
