Ingredients
- Portobello mushrooms - 200 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- BBQ sauce - 4 tablespoons
- Corn tortillas - 4 pieces
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Clean the Portobello mushrooms and remove the stems.
- Brush the mushrooms with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the mushrooms on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are tender and have nice grill marks.
- During the last 2 minutes of grilling, brush the mushrooms with BBQ sauce.
- While the mushrooms are grilling, warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side until soft.
- Remove the mushrooms from the grill and slice them into strips.
- Assemble the tacos by placing the grilled mushroom strips on each tortilla, topping with sliced avocado and chopped cilantro.
- Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
