Ingredients
- Ground beef (lean) - 300 grams
- Ground turkey - 200 grams
- Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- BBQ sauce - 100 ml
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Chopped fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, 50 ml of the BBQ sauce, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, paprika, and parsley.
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread the remaining BBQ sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
