Ingredients

  • Ground beef (lean) - 300 grams
  • Ground turkey - 200 grams
  • Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • BBQ sauce - 100 ml
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, 50 ml of the BBQ sauce, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, paprika, and parsley.
  3. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  5. Spread the remaining BBQ sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
