  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Canned chickpeas - 1 cup (240 grams), drained and rinsed
  • BBQ sauce - 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • Red bell pepper - 1/2, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced
  • Corn kernels - 1/2 cup (75 grams), fresh or frozen
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (15 ml)
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained chickpeas, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mash slightly with a fork to combine.
