- Chicken breast - 300 grams
- BBQ sauce - 100 ml
- Slider buns - 4 pieces
- Coleslaw mix - 100 grams
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
- In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper to make the coleslaw dressing.
- Add the coleslaw mix to the dressing and toss until well coated. Set aside.
- Season the chicken breast with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle olive oil on the grill or skillet and place the chicken breast on it. Cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 75°C.
- During the last few minutes of cooking, brush the BBQ sauce over the chicken.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before shredding it.
- While the chicken is resting, slice the slider buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or skillet.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a generous portion of the shredded BBQ chicken on the bottom half of each bun, topping it with coleslaw, and then placing the top half of the bun on.
