  • Smoked brisket, shredded - 200 grams
  • BBQ sauce - 100 grams
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Coleslaw mix - 100 grams
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cheddar cheese, sliced - 2 pieces
  • Pickles, sliced - 4 slices

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the coleslaw mix with mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Set aside to marinate.
  2. Form the ground beef into two equal patties, season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  5. While the burgers are cooking, heat the shredded smoked brisket in a small saucepan with the BBQ sauce over low heat until warmed through.
  6. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing a beef patty on each bun, topping with warm brisket, coleslaw, and pickles.
  8. Serve immediately with additional BBQ sauce on the side, if desired.
