- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar-free BBQ sauce - 100 ml
- Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Rub the spice mix evenly over the beef ribs, ensuring they are fully coated.
- In a large oven-safe pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Sear the ribs on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- In a separate bowl, combine the sugar-free BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs, ensuring they are well covered.
- Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the ribs are tender and the meat starts to pull away from the bones.
- Remove the foil and broil the ribs for an additional 5-10 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
- Remove from the oven, let rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
