  • Rabbit - 500 grams, cut into pieces
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 100 ml

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, black pepper, apple cider vinegar, and honey to create a marinade.
  2. Add the rabbit pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or preferably, overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  4. Remove the rabbit from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Reserve the remaining marinade for basting.
  5. Place the rabbit pieces on the grill and cook for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with the reserved marinade every 10 minutes.
  6. Ensure the rabbit reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
  7. Once cooked, remove the rabbit from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
