  • Goose breast - 500 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sea salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 sprig, chopped

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, sea salt, honey, and chopped rosemary to create a marinade.
  2. Place the goose breast in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Ensure the meat is well-coated, seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 200°C).
  4. Remove the goose breast from the marinade and let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  5. Place the goose breast skin-side down on the grill and cook for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Flip the goose breast and continue grilling for another 15-20 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 75°C.
  7. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve the sliced goose breast with your favorite Paleo-friendly sides.
