Ingredients

  • Heavy cream - 240 ml
  • Sweetened condensed milk - 120 ml
  • Pistachios, chopped - 50 g
  • Walnuts, chopped - 50 g
  • Honey - 30 ml
  • Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • Phyllo pastry sheets - 2 sheets
  • Unsalted butter, melted - 30 g
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with sugar and set aside.
  3. Lay the phyllo sheets on a baking tray, brushing each layer with the butter-sugar mixture. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. In a mixing bowl, blend heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk until well combined. Fold in the chopped pistachios, walnuts, honey, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Crush the baked phyllo pastry into small pieces and fold them into the cream mixture.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a freezer-safe container and spread evenly. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
  7. Serve scoops of Baklava Ice Cream, garnished with additional chopped nuts and a drizzle of honey if desired.
