- Unsalted butter - 50g, melted
- Large egg - 1
- Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
- Chopped walnuts - 30g
- Chopped pistachios - 20g
- Ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- Honey - 30g
- Water - 30ml
- Additional melted butter - for greasing
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a small baking dish (approximately 20x20 cm).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts, chopped pistachios, and ground cinnamon.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- While the brownies are baking, prepare the honey glaze by combining honey and water in a small saucepan over low heat until melted and well combined.
- Once the brownies are done, remove them from the oven and immediately pour the honey glaze over the top, spreading it evenly.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the dish for at least 10 minutes before slicing into squares and serving.
