- Firm tofu - 200 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and toss gently to coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated tofu and toss gently until all pieces are coated.
- Spread the tofu cubes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm.
