Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  3. In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper to make the marinade.
  4. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and toss gently to coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated tofu and toss gently until all pieces are coated.
  6. Spread the tofu cubes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  8. Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm.
