Ingredients

  • Broccoli florets - 300 grams
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded - 150 grams
  • Cream cheese - 100 grams
  • Milk - 100 ml
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Almond flour - 30 grams (optional for topping)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Add the blanched broccoli to the cheese mixture and fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Transfer the broccoli and cheese mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top. If using, also sprinkle almond flour for added texture.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the top and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and serve warm.
