- Broccoli florets - 300 grams
- Cheddar cheese, shredded - 150 grams
- Cream cheese - 100 grams
- Milk - 100 ml
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Almond flour - 30 grams (optional for topping)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Add the blanched broccoli to the cheese mixture and fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the broccoli and cheese mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top. If using, also sprinkle almond flour for added texture.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and serve warm.
