Ingredients

  • Egg noodles - 100g
  • Apples (peeled, cored, and sliced) - 2 medium
  • Eggs - 2 large
  • Sugar - 50g
  • Cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • Milk - 120ml
  • Butter (melted) - 30g
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, milk, melted butter, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Add the cooked noodles and sliced apples to the egg mixture, stirring until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish (approximately 20cm x 20cm).
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the kugel is set.
