- Egg noodles - 100g
- Apples (peeled, cored, and sliced) - 2 medium
- Eggs - 2 large
- Sugar - 50g
- Cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- Milk - 120ml
- Butter (melted) - 30g
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, milk, melted butter, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
- Add the cooked noodles and sliced apples to the egg mixture, stirring until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish (approximately 20cm x 20cm).
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the kugel is set.
