  • granulated sugar - 100 grams
  • brown sugar - 50 grams
  • large eggs - 1
  • vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • all-purpose flour - 75 grams
  • unsweetened cocoa powder - 25 grams
  • baking powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips - 50 grams
  • cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • chocolate hazelnut spread - 50 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a small baking dish (approximately 8x8 inches) with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  8. Dollop the chocolate hazelnut spread over the batter, then swirl it gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  9. Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and smooth it out.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
