- large eggs - 1
- vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- all-purpose flour - 75 grams
- unsweetened cocoa powder - 25 grams
- baking powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 50 grams
- cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- chocolate hazelnut spread - 50 grams
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a small baking dish (approximately 8x8 inches) with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Dollop the chocolate hazelnut spread over the batter, then swirl it gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and smooth it out.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before lifting out using the parchment paper. Cut into squares and serve.
