- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Milk - 120 ml
- Unsalted butter - 40 grams, softened
- Egg - 1 large
- Cocoa powder - 25 grams
- Dark chocolate, chopped - 50 grams
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Warm the milk until lukewarm and add it to the dry ingredients along with the softened butter and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- In a small bowl, mix cocoa powder, chopped dark chocolate, and cinnamon for the filling.
- Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Evenly spread the chocolate filling over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly from one long side to form a log, then cut it in half lengthwise to expose the filling.
- Twist the two halves together and place in a greased loaf pan.
- Cover the pan and let it rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the babka for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
