Ingredients

  • Cherry tomatoes - 10 pieces
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, sliced into rounds
  • Bell pepper (any color) - 1 medium, cut into squares
  • Mozzarella balls - 10 pieces (about 150 grams)
  • Black olives - 10 pieces
  • Prosciutto - 50 grams, sliced into strips
  • Fresh basil leaves - 10 leaves
  • Extra virgin olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Balsamic vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Skewers - 4 (6-inch)

Steps

  1. Prepare all ingredients by washing the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, and fresh basil leaves. Slice the cucumber and bell pepper into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Take a skewer and begin threading the ingredients: start with a cherry tomato, followed by a cucumber slice, a piece of bell pepper, a mozzarella ball, an olive, a strip of prosciutto, and a basil leaf. Repeat until the skewer is filled, leaving some space at the ends for easy handling.
  3. Repeat the threading process for the remaining skewers until all ingredients are used.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper to create a dressing.
  5. Drizzle the dressing over the assembled skewers just before serving, or serve it on the side for dipping.
