- canned wild Alaska salmon - 400 grams
- gluten-free breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
- egg - 1 large
- green onion - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- olive oil - 2 tablespoons for frying
Steps
- Open the canned salmon and drain it thoroughly. Place the salmon in a mixing bowl, flaking it with a fork.
- Add gluten-free breadcrumbs, egg, green onion, parsley, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 4 cm thick and 8 cm in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the salmon patties to the pan, cooking in batches if necessary.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Serve hot.
