Ingredients

  • canned wild Alaska salmon - 400 grams
  • gluten-free breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
  • egg - 1 large
  • green onion - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
  • fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • olive oil - 2 tablespoons for frying

Steps

  1. Open the canned salmon and drain it thoroughly. Place the salmon in a mixing bowl, flaking it with a fork.
  2. Add gluten-free breadcrumbs, egg, green onion, parsley, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into patties, about 4 cm thick and 8 cm in diameter.
  4. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the salmon patties to the pan, cooking in batches if necessary.
  5. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Serve hot.
