Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs - 400 grams
  • Mayonnaise - 100 grams
  • Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
  • Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon (chopped, for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and paprika to create the Alabama white sauce.
  2. Reserve half of the sauce for serving later and marinate the chicken thighs in the remaining sauce for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush it with olive oil.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
  5. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Serve the chicken drizzled with the reserved Alabama white sauce and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
