- Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon (chopped, for garnish)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and paprika to create the Alabama white sauce.
- Reserve half of the sauce for serving later and marinate the chicken thighs in the remaining sauce for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush it with olive oil.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
